COMING SPRING 2026!

Boston Arena (now Matthews Arena) opened in 1910 and for Boston sports fans, it is still known in NBA circles as the site of the very first Boston Celtics game in 1946.  From 1946 through 1959, the Celts used Boston Arena as their secondary home and this one-of-a-kind banner commemorating this arena’s place in NBA history is simply priceless.  Modeled after the very banners currently hanging from “The Garden”, this banner will be going live for auction in the spring of 2026 - just in time for perhaps another Celtics NBA Championship run.
